You can just get a premade one then tweak it like take out the background and put your own etc....

do a search on (thomas editor), its a start for basic background changes and fonts

go to http://www.freecodesource.com/ look at what (Layout) you want it will have a background pic for you .. copy the code and then got to my space to edit profile and paste the code into one of the slot where it is title .. about me or interest. ect.. whatever you choose.. preview your profile and then save all selection then click home and the view your profile to see if it works.
